From early childhood I loved painting with watercolours, colouring with crayons and creating imaginative Irish landscapes with pastels. In my teens I acquired oil paints and a 'how-to-paint-still-life-in-oils' manual. To this day, now, at 76 years of age, I’m riveted to painting from life, figurative and representational subjects. I enjoy drawing, etching and struggling with watercolours.
