This month we are featuring Alice Gur-Arie

Alice is a self taught multidisciplinary artist who creates limited edition fine art images by hand painting, digitally, her photographs from around the world. Inspired by the natural world, landscapes, seascapes and wildlife dominate her portfolio, ranging from bold, saturated abstracts to soft, textured tones. She also makes maritime themed wall hangings which combine iron hardware, rope, shells, and stones reclaimed from rivers and seas. Her current project is a watercolour painting of ancient stained glass abbey windows in France; her first collection of branch tapestries will be completed by the Spring.

Her work has been auctioned at Christie's and exhibited at the Embassy of Iceland. She has received industry recognition for photography and fine art images, and a number of book covers in the US feature her work.

Alice is a permanent artist at The Greenwich Gallery.
