 It is with sadness that we record the recent death of Paolo Tich. He was an enthusiastic member of the Society.

His exhibited photographs included a striking series of black and white images of Greenwich in the 50's shortly after his arrival from Venice. His more recent work explored the beauties of plants and landscape in a fresh and skilful way. Even when suffering from ill health, Paulo would join us at the Cutty Sark Gardens to show his work on the railings, attracting an appreciative crowd with his good humoured personality and photographing his fellow artists as a record of the events. Some of his work can to be seen at the Jimmy Monaco restauant at the O2 venue in Greenwich. He will be sadly missed - a fine photographer and a good friend to the Society.
